Free ideas for bloggers – Part 1: Getting to know you

This is part 1 in a 10-part series of free ideas for bloggers.

Welcome to the first of a ten-part series of free and open ideas for blog posts. Over the next few weeks, I will aim to post 100 ideas to help bloggers find inspiration for their next post. In this first installment, we begin at the beginning with ten ideas that help your blog readers get to know a little bit about you. Feel free to use these ideas, share them, modify them, break them, curse at them, do whatever you want. If you do use an idea, all I ask in return is to leave a comment on this post with a link to your blog post. Happy blogging!

#3 Future you

Write a letter to the future you in 5 years time. Tell your future self some of the things you hope you’ve achieved or overcome by that time.
Variation: Write a letter to your former self 10 years ago and tell him/her what you would do differently in life and why.

#5 Personal possessions

Walk around your house/apartment/room and look at the different objects around you. Choose the 5 most meaningful things to you. Take a picture of each one. Tell your readers why these things matter. Ask another blogger to share their 5 things.

#6 Memory tag
